Amy Juleson
Associate Marriage and Family TherapistAmy Juleson
Associate Marriage and Family TherapistAbout Me:
I have experience in treating individual adults of all ages as well as couples.. I specialize in working with multicultural concerns, trauma, grief and loss, depression and anxiety management, relationship issues, family conflict and major life transitions.
I utilize experiential theoretical approaches as well as interventions deriving from narrative, solution-focused, attachment and communication styles, cognitive behavioral, and person-centered techniques. I am here to hold space for my clients and help them realize their strengths and how they relate to themselves and others. I bring hope to each session and strongly believe people can experience the healing and change they are looking for, even when they’re struggling to believe in that for themselves. I strive to garner trust, provide compassion and empowerment and use an affirming, kind and direct approach to therapy.
When I am not inspired through working with my clients you may find me hiking one of the many beautiful trails San Diego has to offer or spending time with my husband and two felines.
